This Serapi shows a dominant medallion composition set within a broad wool field, articulated in blue, neutral, white and cream tones. Ivory spandrels provide bright contrast to a field of angular floral motifs and measured abrash; the low distress preserves crisp geometry and a discreet tactile surface. The borders remain defined with minor edge wear and a restrained patina that speaks to careful use. The rug measures 396 x 605 cm and retains clear pattern and surface depth. An antique rug that balances formal structure and worn-in character. Circa 1880 - 1900
