This Serapi presents an ivory centre punctuated by an indigo star medallion and coral, pale blue and cream detailing. The pattern is both geometric and floral, with angular palmettes and sprigged vines flowing into a broad navy guard border. The wool fibre remains generous with low, consistent wear and subtle abrash in the red fields that lends period character. The piece reads as an antique rug with a tactile, heritage-worn surface and clear graphic composition. Circa 1880 - 1900. Measurements: 414 x 559 cm. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
