A charcoal ground anchors the field, where palmettes, vines, and medallion forms unfold in faded coral, rust, ivory, taupe, and muted gold. The border carries the same language in a lighter register, framing the interior with measured contrast. Medium wear, visible fading, and tonal variation give the piece an atmospheric, time-worn presence. Circa 1900 - 1930, it balances formal structure with a naturally distressed surface. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
