An understated Sultanabad on a pale cream ground, woven in wool with an allover floral vine lattice, palmettes and scrolling tendrils. A warm red foliate border contains muted blue, rust and taupe accents that show gentle abrash and the patina of age. Condition is low distress with intact borders and minimal pile loss, offering a soft, tactile surface and a measured, heritage-aware palette. This antique rug has a quiet presence and finely resolved motifs that reward close inspection. Circa 1885 - 1900. Measurements: 274 x 353 cm. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
