An allover floral arrangement moves across the centre, with a subdued medallion and scrolling botanical detail held within a darker, more graphic border. The surface shows medium distress, with visible fading, abrasion, and softened contrast that lend the rug an understated, timeworn presence. Circa 1880 - 1900, it offers the layered colour and expressive patterning long associated with Sultanabad weaving. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
