A generous Mahal, 206 x 305 cm, washed in softened coral, faded blues, cream and neutral grey. The all-over field shows rosettes and repeated floral medallions contained by a narrow floral guard. Medium distress has produced subtle abrash and a softened pile, the surface wear lifting highlights in the wool and evening the overall tone. This antique rug balances evident age with delicate colouration and tactile warmth; each worn area contributes to the cloth's layered story. It presents an assured, quiet presence.
