This Gharabah antique rug measures 150 x 269 cm and presents a long, composed field of geometric medallions, floral scatter, and a bold outer border in coral pink over a dark, atmospheric ground. Wool gives the surface a softened handle, while the low distress preserves much of the drawing and colour contrast. Indigo, brown, taupe, blue, and cream tones move across the piece with gentle ageing and visible character at the edges. Circa 1900 - 1925, it offers a grounded yet lively presence, shaped by pattern, wear, and time. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
