This Kashan antique rug measures 124 x 206 cm and offers a richly layered field of floral ornament anchored by a formal central medallion. Coral red, deep indigo, dusty blue, celadon, and ivory tones move across the surface, creating a vivid but age-softened palette. The borders hold the composition with palmettes, blossoms, and scrolling motifs that echo the central field. Circa 1900 - 1925, the rug shows visible wear that adds depth to the wool pile and gently softens the contrasts. Its balance of structure and movement gives the piece a composed, tactile presence.
