This Silk Kashan antique rug measures 33 x 36 cm and offers a compact floral composition in cream, peach, navy, blue, rose, and olive hues. At the centre, a branching tree motif opens into stylised blooms, enclosed by a sequence of floral borders that bring structure and rhythm to the design. The surface reads softly worn, with low distress, gentle pile wear, and irregular fringe that speak to age and use. Circa 1925 - 1955, it has the intimate scale, colour harmony, and layered ornament of a finely made antique rug.
