This Gharabah antique rug measures 102 x 345 cm and offers a long, vertically ordered composition with a gently worn field and disciplined geometric detail. A sequence of stepped medallions runs through the centre, set between richly worked side borders filled with small tribal motifs in red, cream, white, and dark blue. The wool surface carries soft ageing, light abrasion, and a mellowed handle, which lend the piece depth and an understated presence. Circa 1880 - 1910, it balances structure and softness in a way that feels quietly layered and distinctly heritage-led.
