This Kashan features an ivory ground with a navy central medallion and intricate scrolling floral vines rendered in cream and blue. Knotted in wool, the rug shows low wear and a soft, tactile pile with subtle abrash across the field; borders remain well defined and intact. The composition mixes a dense botanical centre with scalloped spandrels and a wide foliate border, giving the piece a measured, archival presence. Seen as an antique rug, it retains clarity of motif and a graceful, aged surface. Circa 1890 - 1930. Exact dimensions: 269 x 351 cm.
