A narrow N.W. Persian runner composed of repeated geometric medallions on a deep indigo ground, punctuated by cream centre motifs and rust accents in wool. The design pairs compact medallions with small angular floral motifs, contained by narrow ivory guards and a broader rust outer border. Wear is low and even, with restrained abrash that gives a lived, tactile quality to the surface. The piece reads as an antique rug with clear graphic structure and a softened palette that favours depth over contrast. Circa 1900 - 1920. Measurements: 114 x 389 cm.
