A Gharabah in soft neutrals, woven in wool with a restrained, antique presence. The composition is a tight geometric floral lattice in ivory and taupe, framed by narrow guard stripes and a broad foliate border with stylised rosettes and animal motifs. Medium wear has produced even abrash and subtle areas of pile loss that accentuate the rug’s muted surface and tactile character. The long runner proportions remain elegant and quietly worn. This antique rug measures 206 x 559 cm and retains a calm, heritage-inflected atmosphere. Circa 1900 - 1920. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
