This Gharabah presents a calm gold field in wool, set with an ivory central medallion and restrained bird and floral sprigs. Scalloped mihrab ends and a rose ground border of floral cartouches provide a formal, elongated composition. The piece shows low wear, even fading and subtle abrash that harmonises the palette; edges are softly softened but intact. The tactile surface and composed design read as an antique rug with measured restraint and material presence. Circa 1885 - 1925. Size 224 x 470 cm, a considered example of historic craft and quiet colouration.
