This Bakhshaish antique rug measures 323 x 422 cm and features a layered field of geometric medallions enclosed by a detailed tribal border. Its palette of cream, brown, rust red, and muted charcoal is softened by high distress, with visible fading and abrasion that blur the pattern into a richly timeworn surface. The larger motifs still read clearly, yet they settle into the ground with an understated, weathered rhythm.
