A large Bakhshaish in red and neutral tones, the ivory ground organised into a disciplined tree-of-life lattice with delicate floral sprigs and stepped palmettes. The field is held by a broad geometric border of octagonal cartouches; the wool shows low distress and soft abrash, the reds mellowing to warm terracotta against neutral grounds. The surface carries a quiet, layered patina and the edges remain intact, offering a tactile, heritage-forward expression of weave and time. This antique rug reads as both crafted and time-softened.
