The palette moves between blue, cream, dusky rose, and brown, giving the rug a restrained clarity and a softly aged surface. Circa 1900 - 1925, it shows low distress, with visible wear that has mellowed the pattern and flattened the pile in places. The overall effect is composed and textural, with the measured repeat and border work lending the piece a quiet graphic presence.
