This Afghan antique rug measures 142 x 178 cm and has a muted, weathered palette of brown, cream, taupe, and ivory. Its design is organised around an allover lattice of small geometric motifs, set within layered borders that pair diamonds with narrow chevron bands. The result is balanced and understated, with the kind of visual rhythm that softens naturally with age. Medium distress is visible in the faded field, gentle tonal variation, and worn edges, all of which contribute to its character.
