This Khotan antique rug measures 160 x 320 cm and carries a warm, time-softened palette of red, brown, and neutral notes. Three dark medallions organise the composition, while floral sprays, small roundels, and angular corner ornaments bring structure and variation across the field. The layered borders are detailed with scrolling motifs and repeating bands, now mellowed by age into a quieter frame. Woven in wool with low distress, it has a calm patina, light fading, and edge character that speak to its history. Circa 1900 - 1925. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
