The central field is arranged with stylised floral motifs and geometric medallion forms, all enclosed by multiple borders that shift between repeating pattern and quiet ornament. Medium distress has softened the contrast, allowing the composition to read with a calm, lived-in character. Circa 1900 - 1930, it captures the refined, decorative character often seen in Khotan weaving, with colour and detail that feel quietly aged.
