This Chinese Peking antique rug measures 66 x 127 cm and pairs a pale wool ground with indigo outlines, softened blue ornament, and subtle green and coral notes. The layout is balanced and open, centring on a medallion framed by floral sprays, corner devices, and a refined inner border. Its medium distress is visible in the faded colour, softened pattern, and lightly irregular fringes, all of which add to its composed, lived-in presence.
