This Farahan Sarouk antique rug, woven in wool, measures 130 x 193 cm and has the poised, time-softened character of an early 20th-century piece. A restrained ivory-toned centre is set against deep navy geometric forms, then enclosed by a richly worked border in faded rose, sage, charcoal, and muted terracotta. Stepped medallion shapes and small floral details give the composition its measured cadence, while the worn finish gently mutes the contrast.
