A red central field is surrounded by cream and neutral borders, with a pronounced Greek-key frame that anchors the composition. The stepped medallion at the centre and small corner motifs remain visible through the softened surface, alongside scattered floral traces and gentle fading. Circa 1900 - 1930, it shows medium wear and a settled patina that gives the rug an understated, heritage-rich presence. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
