The palette is grounded in ivory and soft grey, with muted red, rust, taupe, and charcoal threaded throughout. The composition combines a central medallion-like motif with scattered floral and geometric details, creating a gently rhythmic surface. Circa 1900 - 1920, the rug shows medium distress, with worn areas and softened colour that give the design a calm, aged clarity and a distinctly tactile presence.
