This Khotan antique rug measures 152 x 330 cm and carries a restrained, time-softened character across its long field. Repeating dot motifs sit within an orderly border system, while roundel forms and small floral details introduce a measured decorative cadence. The colour range is composed of brown, cream, white and neutral notes, with medium wear that has gently flattened the contrast and mellowed the surface. Circa 1900 - 1920, it reflects the quieter side of Khotan design, where pattern, age and wool texture meet in a grounded, heritage-led composition.
