This Khotan antique rug measures 201 x 391 cm and carries a muted palette of faded red, camel, cream, white, and brown. The elongated field is organised with an allover lattice pattern that has softened beautifully over time, framed by a narrow inner border of small floral forms and a more expressive scrolling outer border. Medium distress has left the surface gently abraded, with worn colour and relaxed definition that deepen its character.
