This Sivas antique rug measures 99 x 335 cm and unfolds in a slender gallery composition, organised into seven framed panels with floral medallions and small repeating details. Ivory, red, pink, rust, and gold tones soften into one another, lending the wool surface a warm, timeworn clarity. Fine border work surrounds the central field, with geometric guards and a floral main border that keep the design articulate from end to end. Low distress, light fading, and gently worn ends add to its settled presence. Circa 1900 - 1915. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
