A restrained Sivas runner in wool, held to a calm, neutral palette through long wear. At 282 x 597 cm the central field is a soft wash of blue-grey and cream, punctuated by faint arching motifs, small floral devices and a repeating cartouche border that now sits gently faded. High distress and visible abrash create a layered surface where pattern and ground converse quietly; edges are softened and the pile is evenly worn. The result is an antique rug with a heritage feel and a subtle, tactile presence that reads like a timeworn textile. Circa 1900 - 1915
