A scalloped medallion settles in apricot against a pale aqua ground, the design mellowed by even abrash and steady wear. Narrow foliate borders in cream and brown provide a measured frame for sprigs, rosettes and stylised palmettes repeating through the field. Medium distress has softened the pile and muted the colour palette, producing a tactile, timeworn surface.
