This Khotan presents a muted red palette over a soft grey-neutral ground, the wool pile revealing an intimate, tactile weave and restrained chroma. An allover tree-of-life lattice is punctuated by round floral medallions and held by several narrow, geometric guard borders that add measured rhythm to the piece. Wear is modest, allowing the original colour and motif to remain legible while introducing a calm, aged patina. The result is an antique rug that reads as craft and quiet history in one object.
