Measuring 122 x 190 cm, the soft grey field hosts palmette centres and scrolling boteh-like sprays, framed by an ivory floral guard and a slim red-brown inner band. The piece shows low distress; subtle abrash and slight pile variation create a nuanced, gently worn surface that reads like a studied textile field. Cream, brown and muted ochre notes balance the composition, the antique rug expressing quiet craft and layered age.
