A refined Kerman runner in wool fibre, 91 x 239 cm, with a repeating floral medallion chain and refined arabesque scrolls. Soft cream and warm brown grounds are accented by powder blue and navy motifs, creating a subtle, muted colour range. A narrow floral guard border frames the field, where palmettes and vine-work are neatly articulated. Low wear leaves a soft, even pile and a mellowed surface that emphasises the rug’s textured detail. This antique rug carries a calm, heritage-aware presence and a quietly weathered charm. Circa 1900 - 1915.
