Floral cartouches and palmettes march around the centre with clear, graphic definition; the wool shows gentle abrash and a mellowed surface from low, even wear. The pile remains soft to the touch and the border detail is intact, giving this antique rug a composed, heritage presence. Circa 1900 - 1940. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time. Subtle tonal variation keeps the drawing legible and grounded.
