The design pairs stepped diamond medallions and chevron bands with small floral centres, held by multiple geometric guard borders that retain fine linear detail despite wear. Visible patched repairs and edge abrasion contribute to the rug’s layered surface and handmade character. This antique rug measures 262 x 490 cm and offers a tactile, heritage-aware presence. Circa 1900 - 1930. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
