This Khotan carries a muted centre medallion on a warm, earthy ground. Faded coral disks, soft sea‑foam blues, cream and pale ochre sit against a mellow taupe field; the wool fibre shows gentle abrash and a softened, tactile surface. Geometric corner forms and a sequence of borders, including a meander and chevron guard, give the composition a disciplined structure while age has tempered the palette. The piece measures 206 x 409 cm and reads as architectural in scale yet intimately worn. This antique rug balances patterned form with a patinated colourway. Circa 1900 - 1915
