Khotan rug composed of a soft neutral ground punctuated by three red medallions and smaller circular guls; pink and gold highlights lift the pattern. Woven in wool, the surface is tactile with restrained wear and a gentle abrash that harmonises the palette. The borders feature interlaced geometric meanders and repeat motifs, their edges well preserved with only minimal pile loss. This antique rug presents a considered balance of colour and form, its medallions arranged with calm rhythm across the field. Circa 1905 - 1925. Measures 188 x 363 cm. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
