Sivas offers a gently faded central medallion in a muted palette of neutral beige, brown and gold on wool. Floral arabesques populate the field, contained by graduated guard borders, the motifs softened by time and wear. The surface displays moderate abrash and a uniform mellowing that emphasises texture and hand, while the original pattern remains evident. This antique rug measures 244 x 353 cm and carries medium wear consistent with regular use and considered conservation. Circa 1900 - 1920. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
