A Kerman in wool, the field organised around a refined medallion and compact floral vines, rendered in muted blue, cream and neutral tones. Layered guard borders with palmette motifs frame scalloped spandrels, the whole softened by medium distress and even abrash that lend the piece a mellow, tactile surface. The rug carries a quiet, heritage-aware presence where colouration and wear read as accumulated patina rather than intervention. Measurements: 239 x 315 cm. Circa 1910 - 1930.
