This Needle Point wool piece measures 117 x 208 cm and reads like a small painted textile. A disciplined, repeating arrangement of floral rosettes and scrolling arabesques forms narrow vertical columns across a warm neutral ground, framed by a narrow floral border. Coral and cream blooms, punctuated by blue, green and yellow highlights, are rendered in a tactile handworked stitch with soft surface relief.
