A monumental Farahan Sarouk in warm golds and brown rusts, handwoven in wool with a prominent central medallion and dense floral arabesque field. At 429 x 744 cm the scale lets the medallion and scrolling vines resolve with clarity; soft abrash and light wear give a tactile, aged surface. Borders remain sound and the ornament retains lively modelling despite patina. This antique rug is composed and quietly expressive, its colours settling into a lived-in harmony of gold and neutral tone. Circa 1900 - 1920 The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
