A saturated red Khotan, composed of repeated circular guls and a restrained oval centre medallion in muted grey and cream. The wool pile displays gentle abrash, brightened by yellow and brown accent motifs and a layered angular border with diagonal guards. Wear is low and considered, allowing the geometric motifs and border enumera­tion to remain legible while the surface gains a soft, tactile sheen. This antique rug reads as both graphic and lived-in, with visible craft in its colour transitions and motif work. Circa 1900 - 1915. Exact size: 183 x 325 cm.
