A Sivas with a pronounced central medallion and dense floral arabesques set into a calm neutral ground. The medallion and corner ornament link to a richly patterned multi-band border in warm brown and red, lending an antique rug a composed, heirloom quality. Wool fibre reads soft and supple, the palette showing modest abrash rather than heavy fading; edges remain sound with minor fringe wear. The proportions, 130 x 213 cm, preserve an intimate, tactile presence and a restrained visual depth. Circa 1905 - 1925 The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
