This Larestan presents a restrained, neutral field in wool, cream and beige tempered by pale blue and teal abrash. The allover floral lattice is almost impressionistic from wear, while a wide palmette border retains clear motif definition in faded tones. The textile shows medium distress, even fading and soft edge rubbing that contribute to a supple, worn surface. As an antique rug its quiet palette and tactile age read as craft and history in equal measure. Measurements: 229 x 269 cm.
