An understated Larestan in a soft cream palette, this antique rug presents an allover floral and diamond lattice mellowed by significant vintage wear. Measuring 274 x 356 cm, the wool fibre exhibits high distress, producing a neutral colourway of ivory, pale taupe and cool grey where the design has abraded. Borders and inner guards are softened yet still readable, giving the piece a gently patinated, tactile surface. The result is a restrained, heritage-led object that emphasises material and timeworn craft over contrast. Circa 1880 - 1910 The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
