The 401 x 488 cm field carries a low-contrast floral lattice and scrolling palmettes in muted grey and a hint of faded rose on an ivory-cream ground. Narrow guard borders surround the field with repeated floral motifs that have softened through time. Medium wear and even abrash give the pile a tactile, silken patina and a settled, calm surface. This antique rug reads as a quiet study in line and texture, where age and craft combine to temper scale and detail. Circa 1900 - 1935
