A finely drawn Kerman runner in wool, 297 x 846 cm, defined by a continuous floral vine and repeated lozenge medallions along its length. The cream ground is tempered by muted blue and soft navy highlights with touches of faded rose, the palette given depth by even, low wear. Borders remain crisply modelled around the dense botanical field; subtle abrash and mellowing pile speak to age rather than damage. Circa 1915 - 1930. The piece reads as an antique rug with considered restraint, tactile surface and an understated, heritage-aware presence.
