This Bakhshaish carries a bold navy centre medallion set into a cream ground, where blue and rust colours settle into terracotta and soft aqua on wool fibre. At 356 x 513 cm the composition reads generous; a lattice field and stepped spandrels meet narrow borders of rosettes and stylised palmettes. Wear is restrained, with low distress and gentle abrash enlivening the surface without obscuring pattern. An antique rug that balances geometric vigour with painterly colour, its pile and palette retain a quiet tactile presence.
