This Sivas presents a prominent lobed medallion within a deep teal centre, accompanied by red, gold and ivory floral scrolling and repeated border palmettes. Woven in wool, the piece shows gentle abrasion and subtle abrash that quietens highlights while preserving the clarity of the pattern. The overall impression is of a rug-covered surface with a soft, tactile patina and considered low wear consistent with careful use.
