This Seneh antique rug measures 117 x 683 cm and presents a long, refined field enclosed by a decorative floral border. Its allover pattern is built from repeating lattice forms and compact blossom motifs, now softened into a palette of neutral, white, cream, faded aqua, and muted rust. The low distress is visible in the subtle fading and worn tonal balance, which give the surface a gentle, lived-in character without obscuring the drawing. Circa 1900 - 1915, it reflects the intricate rhythm and delicate atmosphere often found in Seneh weaving.
