The design is organised around stacked geometric medallions, with smaller tribal and floral motifs arranged in measured intervals and enclosed by a narrow border of repeated ornament. Low distress leaves the drawing intact while the surface shows gentle fading and abrash, adding depth to the worn pile. Circa 1910 - 1925, it reflects the quiet balance and decorative intricacy associated with Mallayer rugs.
